NWEA TESTS ARE NEXT WEEK

Sixth graders will be taking the NWEA tests on the following dates:
-Tuesday, April 13--Reading test at 12:30
-Wednesday, April 14--Math test at 8:30
-Tuesday, April 20--Language test at 12:30

These are the tests that we take in the Fall and then again in the Spring to show how much growth each child has made. Please be sure to get plenty of rest and a good breakfast/lunch. I like these tests because they show how much each child has accomplished this year. Come ready to do your best!

Community Members and Ponderosa PTSA are having a Benefit for MaKenna Nelson. A chili dinner and silent auction will be held.


Hello! My name is MaKenna, I am 4 years old, I love dress-up, and playing with my sister and brothers. I was also just diagnosed with Sarcoma Cancer. My parents and I will be traveling to and from Salt Lake City for medical care. This is an emotional and financial hardship on my family. My older sister was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at the age of 4, she is now 8 yrs. Old. With my sisters medical expenses and now mine, we need help. So I am asking for your help today. CAMP DISCOVERY
What: A four day science day camp for primary students
Who: Students entering grades K-3
When: July 19th – 22nd, 2010
Cost: $190 per camper

YOUNG NATURALIST’S
What: A four day, three overnight math and science camp
Who: Students entering grades 4-7
When: July 19th -22nd, 2010 (entering grades 4-5)
July 26th-29th, 2010 (entering grades 6-7)
Cost: $290 per camper per week

INNOVATIONS 1 & 2
What: A week long camp in which math and science will be explored in the outdoors.
Who: Students entering grades 8-10
