It's Finally Friday!

I am so glad that it is finally Friday and the weekend is here! For a short week, it sure seemed long. I was mixed up on my days all week! Luckily, the kids were great. I had 5 students come in this morning from 8-8:30 to work on technology. Every Friday my class is invited to come in and get some "extra" tech. time. Today we worked on blogs but we will be doing various activities throughout the year. I hope more people will start coming.
I've added a link about American Indian Heritage Day. Check it out when you have time.
Have a great weekend!

Thursday 9-10-09

We had a fast and furious day. The kids are really working hard and earning a lot of positives. Hoo-rah! Thank you to all who brought money to buy snacks after school. All money we raise will help fund our 6th grade graduation. Have a great evening! I'm off to go see Mrs. Culp's new baby girl! I can't wait!

Another Blog!

Hi everyone! I have updated my blog, as promised. You will find the assignment notebook for today on here and also a list of this week's spelling words. We will have a spelling test on Friday. See how many words you can use in a sentence. Remember, we are building our vocabularies. Find out the meaning of the words you don't know. Ask a parent, grandparent, friend, look it up in a dictionary (book or online).

Just a reminder to bring individually wrapped candy for our Saturday Live Candy Shack. We bag the candy and sell it at Saturday Live. This year it is on Sept. 26 from 9-4:00. It is always a lot of fun!

Also, tomorrow 6th grade starts selling snacks. All snacks are $1.00. All of the money earned goes toward the 6th grade graduation and end of the year field trip. Any extra money will be used towards field trips for the 6th grades. We are also collecting spare change in order to raise money for 6th grade field trips. We would like to go to the Pictograph Caves in September/October and to the Moss Mansion in December. If you've heard of any other good field trips, please let me know.

Happy Wednesday! Enjoy your evening!
Mrs. Morales
