Tuesday, Oct. 6

We had a great day at the Pictograph Caves. We became archaeologists and theorized what certain artifacts were used for in the past. We hiked up to the Pictograph Cave and the Middle Cave and learned many interesting things about both. I encourage you to go visit as a family. Your child would make a wonderful tour guide. There is a great place to have a picnic and a new visitor's center. So much to learn, right in our own backyard!
After school was our first Running/Walking Club. Several kids in class are participating. It was very fun, and we all made it 2 miles. Thank you Ms. Erickson and Mrs. Hankins for starting this club!
Just a reminder that on Wednesday, Oct. 7, our class is allowed to bring hand held electronic games, board games, a snack, and a drink. The class has earned 150 positives and will celebrate this accomplishment on Wednesday. Our next goal is 200 positives! I need everyone giving 100% in order to meet this goal in a timely manner. At times the class seems to think it is ok to talk whenever they want. Our job is to learn and it is important to listen to others when they are talking and to listen to the teacher. Please remind your child about the importance of being a good listener in class. I appreciate your support in this manner.
I will see all of you tomorrow! Have a fabulous evening!
